'Serenity through Challenge'

The Wilderness Programme

The Wilderness Programme is a unique behavioural health programme, specifically designed and tailored to help meet the needs of individuals struggling coming to terms with addictions, professional burn out, stress, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress and other mental health issues.

The programme is designed to meet the needs and requirements of one individual per event.

Wilderness environments are widely acknowledged as a natural means of promoting physical, mental and spiritual well being. Using this as a foundation, we combine an altruistic and diverse range of appropriately prescribed outdoor activities and experiences* which enable our clients to build self-esteem, confidence and to challenge and enhance their 'everyday' physical, emotional and spiritual comfort levels.

Participants work with a highly experienced Coaching Psychologist at various key points throughout the programme. This will enable the participant to explore how they can exist in a more authentic way. Any issues, mistakes and successes will be held lightly and explored, so that a change in the way that the participant would prefer to exist can be co-created and agreed in order to help nurture and advance the individuals recovery.

In addition, our guides coach and demonstrate a wide range of challenging outdoor skills and activities suited to each individuals level of fitness and capability, whilst supporting their psychological needs and ultimately taking personal circumstances and anticipated outcomes into careful consideration.

Whilst being immersed in wild and remote environments our unique 'base camp' environment provides an excellent refuge that not only provides for all basic human needs but that facilitates the overall experience to a degree of relative luxury.

The Wilderness Programme is a unique experiential opportunity for those needing to change harmful habits and to re-engage with their lives.

*Tailor made programmes for individuals are provided following consultation and appraisal.
