Jules McDonald - MD
Jules has a passion for the outdoors and adventure. As well as being an extreme organiser, a mum, gardener extraordinaire, and a specialist in Autism Jules is the MD of the company and oversees the smooth running of the business.
Russell Bain - Destination Consultant/ Photographer
Almost all of the images you see on this site are taken by Russell. As well as being a photographer he is also a keen outdoor man, open boat canoeist, naturalist and inventor! Russell completed all of the Munro's in Scotland by the age of 25.
Lee Cooper - Head Chef
Some of Lee’s accolades include working for head chef Ainsley Harriott at Lords, serving celebrities such as: John Major, Princess Diana, Cindy Crawford, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, Oasis and also working at a 6-year-in-a-row award winning Cumbrian dining pub of the year winner.
Tim Whitehead - Operations
Tim has been sailing from a very young age and has journeyed all around the UK, Europe and even crossed the Atlantic in the ARC race. With a background as lead instructor and Centre Manager, Tim oversees all things operational and safety related.
Graham Freeman - The Wilderness Programme
Programme Director, Graham is a certified counsellor, sober coach and drug and alcohol intervention specialist. Observing individuals and their families recover from the devastating effects of alcoholism and other addictions is his passion in life.
Stephen Mitchell - MBPsS
Stephen has worked in the field of coaching and leadership development since 1994. During that time, he has accrued a wealth of experience as a psychologist, executive coach and is now applying it to The Wilderness Programme.
Graham Cook - Wilderness Programme Ambassador
Graham has many years of International experience in the Wilderness therapy Industry, working with and partnering a number of innovative programmes, based in the UK, Europe and the USA. As an Adviser and International Agent, he has signposted countless families and individuals, to appropriate and sometimes life-changing programmes.
Graham is also a highly experienced Business & HR Consultant, and University Lecturer, specialising in Human Resource Management.
Jessie Hope - Wilderness Programme Therapist
Jessie is a mental health nurse and college lecturer with 18 years' experience in a variety of health care settings in the UK and NZ. Drawing upon her wealth of experience and formal accreditation Jessie uses Mindfulness, Meditation and Pilates as methods to improve mental health & wellbeing.
Helen Reading - Wellbeing Retreats/ The Wilderness Programme
Helen is passionate about spending time outdoors and in wild places. Being a level 2 equine coach and equine assisted therapy practitioner, has enabled her to coach and mentor young people with challenging behaviours. Helen is a facilitator, guide and coach on our Well-being retreats and The Wilderness Programme
